The hostel, small and charming, is open all year round and is on the first floor of a large new structure built in the style of an Italian farm house with garden and portico. Each of the two bedrooms has six beds and guests have use of a delightful adjacent space for having a conversation, reading a book or organizing their trips to town.
Guests can make use of the garden surrounding the building which being well kept and organized is ideal, especially in summer, for spending the afternoon in the open air, sipping a freshly prepared drink from the BAR KAPPA 4or trying one of their dishes which we highly recommend.
Inside the building there is a small and nice library which can be used during opening hours and it also has films, documentaries and art and archaeology magazines.
For those who want to do some cycling and visit the city or the nearby countryside, there is a bike hire service and guests can program their day in an easy and indipendent way. Information on cycle tracks in town is also available.
An internet point and wireless links also allow those who while on holiday need to work on their computers at any time of the day.
The hostel is part of a new space given over to creative activities involving young people in the number 4 district of Firenze which involves educational and cultural activities dedicated to music, theatre, multimedia, literature and journalism. The building is the headquarters for photographic and art exhibitions, a school for theatre and computer course and each day there is a frenzy of activities that take place there.
